Webcam and Screen Recorder 7.0

Webcam & screen recorder is a tool for capturing videos from your screen and saving them at a predefined location. With this tool you can also record full-screen view, a specified window or a selected region of the screen. WSR can record audio along with the video files, which can be compressed using inbuilt codecs provided. The user also has the option to compress the video during capture, all these settings can be done from various settings windows provided. One can also choose to record the mouse pointer during screen recording, along with an option to select the output file format. WSR also has certain shortcut keys defined so that users can increase the speed of execution of repetitive tasks. It also allows the user to cancel the complete recording if it is evident that a particular take has been messed up.

My personal gripe is that WSR hasn't got much to offer in comparison with many other similar tools available on the market for free. Moreover, this tool is not yet compatible with Windows 7 and Vista.
