Screen capture and recording programs are very useful when you need to create tutorials or other eucational materials. Also, they can be used to save video and audio calls for further use.

Tipard Screen Capture is one of such programs. It has a simple, small-sized interface that makes its use easier. From the main screen, you only need to choose the function you want to use, and then, the interface will show the corresponding controls.

The program has three main functions. The first one is, of course, the screen recorder. You can recor the entire screen, or adjust the size of the capturing tool to record only the area of the screen you need. Also, you can turn on/off the system souns and/or the microphone.

The sound recording option also has the feature of turning on/off the system sounds. Both the sound and screen recording features can be scheduled to perfor task at a certain time.

The game and webcam recorders have basically the same functions described above, with the difference that in the videogame mode, you can record your screen and the webcam feed simultaneously.

The main disadvantage I found is that there are several free programs that do pretty much the same. The advantage of this one is that you will have all those functions available in one single program.

The shareware version limits the screen recording time to 3 minutes, and does not allow you to clip your audio or video files before saving them. Also, the noise cancellation feature is disabled. If you create tutorials or videogame-related videos, this program may be useful for you.
