Simplify and automate personal health monitoring when working on a Mac device. Set up the utility for indicating when it is time to take a break to prevent excessive eye strain or damage to wrists. Customize the notifications and functional restrictions.
If you are a heavy computer user who can spend hours in front of the screen without taking a break then, it might affect your eyes/wrists negatively and could also cause RSI. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Repetitive_strain_injury
We should Take a Break once in a while, away from our computer. Take A Break will just help you to do that.
Take A Break is displaying a nice timer in the Menu Bar.
Just select the Frequency of your Breaks, and the Length of your Break. That's it.
Take A Break will automatically adjust if it notices that you are away for a while, from your Mac. And if you want to finish a last minute work, before the "Take a Break" mode is activated, you still can Snooze the Break.
There is as well the 'Enforce Mode'. In this mode you will be able to Snooze only once, and you will not be able to end the break timer before the end of your Break.
