This Mac program was designed for medical students and professionals who wish to visualize a 3D representation of the human lungs. The application is very simple to handle, allows you to select the amount of breaths per minute, and displays a quality animation with the lungs while inhaling and exhaling.
You can choose which components to display in the representation, such as rib cage, bronchopulmonary segments, and others. The app uses real-time 3D, so there are no pre-rendered animations.
Another important advantage is the fact that the program provides you with the name for every lung component. You just need to click over the area you need to study and the app will reveal the correspondent name.
Other than that, not much more can be said about this Mac utility. It does exactly what's being stated on the homepage of the developer and is nicely designed and organized.
Cutting a long story short, it's definitely worth installing this program on your Mac if you need to study human lungs. The utility brings a user-friendly interface, offers you various animation settings, and is free.
