SecretZip is a program written by Linova that can compress and encrypt a folder of files into one szip archive file. The szip file is self-decrypting and self-extracting. Just click on it and type in the correct password and it will be decrypted and extracted.
SecretZip is a simple tool to create and read SecretZip files (here called szips). An szip is a self-inflating and self-decrypting archive file. This program creates such a file from the files folder given a password used for encryption. The files are compressed, encrypted and stored in the archive file. This program is also stored in the archive file.
The created file can then be sent by email to someone. If the receiver also knows the password, he will be able to extract the files on his computer, just by double clicking on the file and typing in the password.
