Screenshot is a simple application that allows you to take screenshots. You can take a screenshot by using the indicated keyboard keys or by pressing the button "Make screenshot" in the system tray menu. Then a wizard will pop up, which will allow you to capture the full screen, the active window or a selected area of the screen; but, unfortunately, the program doesn't offer a free-hand screenshot option.
Once you have taken a screenshot, you will be able to add borders, paint areas and change color depth using the screenshot editor. You can also add special effects like invert image, horizontal or vertical mirroring, and you can even preview the image with the changes. In the next step, you will specify where you want to save the file, its name, and whether you wish to compress the picture into a zip file or make it a self-extracting archive. The image can also be copied to the clipboard, printed or sent via email from within program. If you choose the latter, you can also specify the recipient, write a message and customize other options. If you wish to take simple screenshots using always the same settings, just select them and then click the box "Do not show this dialog anymore". You can also do that from the setup menu.
