ISO Burner simplifies the process of creating discs from image files. Although burning ISOs is a function that is generally included in general-purpose burners, some users may feel more comfortable using a more straightforward application to do that. In addition to burning data from image files, this software can also do the inverse operation of creating ISO files from data. Moreover, it can be used to burn data straight onto your disc.

The tool has an easy-to-use interface, as most of the operations are readily available from a menu on the top. However, I feel that it does not keep up with modern design standards. Therefore, the program may look a little old to you.

This application supports a wide array of discs, including CD-R, CD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW and DVD-RAM. Besides, it can import data from either local hard disks, external drives or network locations. Three basic operations are supported. First, you can import an ISO image and burn it onto a disc. Second, you can save an ISO image after selecting the desired files or dragging them onto the program’s interface. Third, you can burn data on the fly, that is, without the need to create a previous ISO file. In addition, the program includes some attractive features, like erasing rewritable discs, using multi-session discs and creating bootable CDs or DVDs.

In general, the main advantages of ISO Burner are derived from its specificity, which in turn favors usability. However, you may certainly feel that the tool lacks many features that you can find in a general-purpose burner, and you are right, because it cannot burn audio discs or video DVDs, for instance.
