This program makes it easy to test and visualize your sensitivity to the range of human-audible frequencies. Free Hearing Test makes it easy to determine your hearing range while identifying frequencies where your ears have lost partial or complete sensitivity. This information is useful in identifying hearing problems that may be aided by hearing aids or other treatments. The application generates data representing sinusoidal sound waves and sends it to your computer's audio system. Sound is then emitted out of your headset or speakers.
