FreeBMI is a Mac application that calculates the BMI (Body Mass Index) of your body based on the entered weight and height values. The program is very simple to handle, so even average computer users without medical studies can easily get the answers they need.
All you need to do in order to work with this Mac utility is to enter your weight and height values. Afterwards, the program displays the correspondent BMI and ideal weight results.
This version of FreeBMI provides you with an additional feature: it now has the ability to save and load results. The files exported with this application can only be opened by FreeBMI.
In my testing, I noticed that the application now uses only the metric system (kilos and meters). This program doesn't provide you with an option to change to standard measuring (feet and inches).
To sum things up, I'd say it's worth installing this app on your computer as it comes in handy in case you need to know your weight status category. The program immediately offers you the results you require and comes without a price tag.
