File and Folder Protector 3.3 by Ixis Research Ltd is the latest released version of this shareware utility for Windows. This software will make it possible for us to take full control over all our computer files. It provides several protection methods for keeping our privacy and security. This program can also be very helpful if we want to control our children's access to certain programs, files, applications, etc. From the Main Window, we can browse through our entire computer directory, select the file we want to protect, add it to the Restricted Files and Folder screen, and choose a protection method. The protection methods available are Hide, Password with context menu, Password with auto-pop, Read Only, and Hide name only. We are allowed to manage passwords and other options, i.e. Hot Keys, and Unlock Time. File and Folder Protector has been recently enhanced and several bugs have been fixed.
