Check Check Checklists is a simple utility program designed to keep a record of your daily tasks, ideas, and thoughts, so that you will not miss important things to do. Once a task is carried out, you just tick the item as checked to confirm that it is accomplished.
Providing a plain and straightforward interface, the application is fairly intuitive and easily manageable by any user. The program allows you to configure countless lists comprising an unlimited number of tasks to remember and perform. Noting down an idea or an activity is done very easily. All you need to do is create a new list which you should name as suggestively as possible. In addition, you can pick a different color for each list. This is a smart feature, since everyone knows that the visual impact goes before reading the text. The next step is to add notes to the lists. The moment a task is fulfilled, you may tag it as “checked”. Instantly, the record will be strikethrough with a horizontal line. This visual representation resembles the act of wiping out the task from your mind to let room for other important things. According to the task-achievement stage, the notes are grouped into modules as “complete” or “incomplete”.
There is also an iOS version of this application that allows you to upload your data to iCloud and sync your Mac with portable devices. Unfortunately, the iOS version is not for free.
Overall, the program won't impress you too much – it is just plain simple and easy to use. As the tool's name suggests, it works as a checklist for things you need to accomplish. Still, it doesn't come with any time references for you to see the date when you first registered a note, when it was completed, or the time interval between the two records. Furthermore, the program lacks a search engine. In such conditions, the tool becomes difficult to manage if you saved too many items. In addition, it doesn't support importing lists that you used in other note-taking apps.
