Maquarium is an aquarium management tool for Mac OS X. The application allows you to keep a record of every little aspect of your aquarium. With it, you can manage all the animals that you have inside your aquarium, tank conditions, maintenance and expenses and more.
I think it is very neat that an application like this even exists. Personally, I wouldn't be able to use it if I had an aquarium because I am horrible at remembering to input data into applications like this. But people who don't have that problem could greatly benefit from Maquarium. It provides a great way of knowing exactly what has been done to your aquarium, what needs to be done, what animals live there and, most importantly, how much it costs you to have an aquarium.
The main window shows a report or profile of your aquarium, where you can even input data about its condition like alkalinity and levels of ammonia, calcium, carbon dioxide, etc. At the top of the screen are buttons that let you add fish, plants, invertebrates and coral. For each item that you add, you can also add pictures, a small profile, and even notes.
In short, Maquarium is very well designed and it should let you manage your aquarium quite thoroughly.
