Charm Tale 2 is a lovely puzzle game in which you need to create chains with gems of the same color in order to eliminate them from the board. To create a chain, you simply need to click on the first gem of a chain and then drag the mouse to the last gem. The longer the chains you create, the higher your score. On every level, you will see the minimum score you need to reach in order to proceed to the next level. If you create chains of eight or more gems, you will generate a big gem. Big gems can be used to create chains and they give you lots of small gems when used. According to your score, you will receive coins, which you can later use to buy power-ups that will help you finish the levels faster and more easily.
As you advance in the game, you will unlock creatures for your aquarium. From time to time, you will be asked to play a mini-game. They are simple, but at least they add some variety. The game offers two modes: Normal and Relaxed. In Normal mode, you need to collect a certain number of gems in the allotted time, while in Relaxed mode there is no time limit, so you can play at your own pace. Sadly, graphics are a bit simple, as well as sounds, and the music is suitable but repetitive.
