Wide Screen Movie Player is a handy Mac application that was designed to help you watch your favorite movies in fullscreen mode and without those annoying black borders. This way, you can easily enjoy your movies without being distracted by anything else.

Wide Screen Movie Player automatically starts in fullscreen mode (you can easily change that from the "Preferences" menu) and it will be displayed on top of any other application that you might have opened so that you can fully enjoy the loaded video file. You can easily modify its size in any desired way, quickly change the volume or jump to any section of the movie and even play it in reverse with just a few clicks of a mouse (or with the help of the provided hotkeys).

Even though, by default, Wide Screen Movie Player doesn't show the control bar while watching the movie, you can quickly make it visible at any given time from the "Movie" menu tab.
