Barrow Hill is an adventure game in which you wander in the woods uncovering ancient secrets and mysteries. The demo version really doesn't show much and what it does show isn't very attractive. The only available scene has no menu, no instructions, nothing. You are left to discover what you have to do by yourself. What is more, the scene is really dark and even though you carry a torch, you cannot see much except for plants and a sort of warehouse which you are not allowed to enter. Supposedly, you need to collect objects that are to be used in future scenes.
The game is really easy to control: you click on edges of the screen in order to go round or click on certain areas to zoom in and out. The music is creepy, and the sound effects are pretty realistic, creating eerie atmosphere. It think I would be best if the demo would be more extensive, so that it was possible to see how the full game looks and works. Certainly, what is available is not really attractive and for what I could see in the demo, I would hardly suggest buying the game.
