AnyBurn 6.1

AnyBurn is a free program that enables you to burn audio CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs on your computer. This application is also capable of creating and converting disc image files between various formats, clone discs, find detailed information regarding your drives, and so much more.

The main window of the utility gives you access to a list of built-in tools. Each of the listed apps comes with easy-to-configure settings and guides you step-by-step, so you don't need much computer experience to get the results you need.

In my testing, I created an ISO file by importing multiple documents from my local folders. The program took less than one minute to provide me the file I needed. I also converted a DMG file to ISO format and got the output file within moments. So, the utility works pretty fast.

The application lets you import various types of files when creating or converting image files. However, AnyBurn comes with a small list of supported output formats. You can export the results to the following formats: ISO and BIN/CUE.

But the aspect that bothered me the most was that the program doesn't offer you a solution for returning to the main window of the app once it completes a given task. For instance, the utility finishes the creation of image files. You can only click the "Close" button which shuts down the app, not the built-in tool.

Still, I don't think you can find other CD and DVD tools that come without price tags and provide you with these many features. With that being said, you should install AnyBurn on your PC if you work with image files, DVDs, CDs, and Blu-ray discs often.
