ZoomInto is a browser add-on that will let the user zoom into any picture in a web page. There are versions of this add-on for all versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari, under Windows or Mac.
After installing this add-on, every picture that appears in your browser will show an icon of a magnifying glass. Clicking on it will launch ZoomInto. This program will show a window where you will see the selected image in its actual size. You can zoom the image in or out, in order to see tiny details or the whole composition, by sliding the zoom control at the bottom of the window. When the image is bigger than the program´s window, you can pan it by using the mouse. A tiny picture in the lower left portion of the screen will mark the part of the image that the window is showing. You can pan the image horizontally and vertically by clicking on the arrows located below the image. If you click the "Reset" button, everything will go back to normal. The program also allows you to resize the image, according to preset sizes, in inches or pixels. You can also crop the image, save it to your disk, or send it by email.
