Zombies Ate My Friends is a generic point and click shoot-em-up game which uses the same tired old zombie gaming genre to push a premium version of the game on players. The gameplay is simple - point and click to shoot as many zombies as possible before they eat you and the rest of the town. The catch is you need energy to kill the zombies and it's very difficult to find ways of refueling your energy levels. That is, unless you are prepared to pay for extra energy boosts which seems the only way of being able to progress. Even worse, you can't save games half way through a stage meaning you have to start from scratch when you replay the game. Although Zombies Ate My Friends is well animated, the frustrating gameplay and unoriginal mean it soon loses its appeal.
