ZipCentral 4.01 is a free file compressor that can create ZIP archives.
The program allows you to create .ZIP files or self-extracting .EXE files.
To create a new archive, you have to select the type of file you will generate, its name and where you want to save it.
Next, you´ll have to select the files or folders that you want to include in the archive. You can also password-protect the archive, or span it to fit in several removable media.
Once done, you will get an archive with all the chosen files included in it.
You can use ZipCentral 4.01 to uncompress archives, restoring the original files included to their original format.
For that, you´ll need to choose the archive to be extracted and the location where you want to put the extracted files.
You can also use the program to run installations from within ZIP files without decompressing it, provided there is a setup.exe included in the archive.
It´s possible to add new files to an archive, convert an archive to a self-extracting file, or test an archive for integrity.
