This program is intended to recover ZIP archive passwords based on the parameters you provide. It has a simple interface, and the uncluttered graphic design makes the application look quite nice.
The brute-force option sets the application to focus on letters, numbers or symbols; and you can also select the password length, which can make things faster. The dictionary function gives you the possibility to add a specific document to the tool’s database in order to make the searching more focused.
After you start the recovery process, the application displays some details about the password’s length, the currently guessed numbers and the identified password. But here comes the surprise. Each time you use it, the log displays the same result. Even if the password contains 10 characters, the program identifies a three-character password, that is “eee”. It doesn’t even scan the archive in order to attempt recovering the password.
All in all, I don’t recommend this program. It doesn’t work at all; I wasn't able to recover any password. And even if it worked, the fact that it supports only ZIP archives is a major drawback.
