Zimbra Toaster is a stand-alone application that notifies you when email arrives to your Zimbra mailbox. When a new email arrives, Zimbra Toaster opens as a dialog box. It will display information like the sender name, subject and a fragment of the message.
Mia for Gmail (was Notifier Pro for Gmail) is a desktop Gmail client which sits politely in your menu bar.
