It can automatically move every file icon from your desktop to another folder when you tell the app to clean your desktop. There are two ways in which you can do this: you can start the process from the menubar icon, or you can use a system-wide hotkey.

If you want all your icons back on your desktop, you can press the hotkey again, and Zen Desktop Cleaner will restore your mess for you. If after cleaning your desktop, you put new files on your desktop, you can press the hotkey again, and those will be added to your hidden folder. Press it again, and all of them will be restored. I like this accumulative behavior.
