XULPlayer is an open source multimedia player based on Mozilla Xul and MPlayer that will let you reproduce a great variety of audio and video files, including VCDs and DVDs. This application is a little different from other video players because it has some video editing tools that will let you modify some aspects of a video, its color, rotate images, etc.
One interesting feature of this application, it's that you will be able to play two videos at the same time. Although you will have to select only one audio of the video files. This feature is more common on video editors than on video players.
While you watch a video, it's possible to modify some of its properties like, adjusting the color or modifying its aspect. Knowing all the information about the video is also possible, for instance, frames per seconds, resolution, encoded date, etc.
With XULPlayer you will also be able to perform video captures, customize subtitles, and play many audio and video files of popular formats like Flash, Real Audio and video, MPEG, MOV, etc. Watching online TV, playing VCDs and DVDs is also possible with this small yet powerful video player.
Version 0.5 of the program includes new features, fixes and updates, among them, support for multiple playlists, subtitle font controls, plus some minor bugs were fixed.
