xStarter is a powerful and handy application that allows you to automate tasks in a simple way and without any programming. Although the user interface is very simple and well organized, unexperienced users may need to read the help file carefully before using it. On the left side of the program's main window there's the list of the most common tasks, including 'start a program', 'open a web browser', 'copy files and folders', 'search for a file', 'archive data', 'perform routine backups' and others. Also, on the right side of the window users will find the schedules and actions associated with a certain task. The different tasks can be scheduled to execute periodically or at specific time determined by the user without the need of supervision. What is more, you can also upload/download files via FTP, trigger events across a network, synchronize folders and much more. The application is highly customizable and includes many features and options. The user interface is available in many languages including French, Spanish, English, German, Russian and Italian.
