XSite is a unique and easy-to-operate tool which can be very useful for those who need to collect contact information and extract images from web sites, as well as for those who need to check broken links in the Internet. One of the good things about this tool is that you can generate a CSV-format report with all the information extracted, which can then be exported to another database or tool.
Say that you want to add a bunch of e-mail addresses from a web site into your Outlook - just type the web site URL on the address box of Xsite’s main window and press “enter”. The program will download and list down all the e-mail addresses found on the web page. The process may take around 30 to 60 seconds, depending upon your Internet speed and the amount of data and images being extracted. However, it is somehow annoying that once XSite has started querying the web site, there is no button you can use to stop the process.
Thus, the user experience can still be improved. This application is compatible with most Windows operating systems, including Windows 7.
