xrecode II is an audio converter with an easy-to-use interface that allows you to convert audio files into many audio formats. The main window includes two tabs: the "File" tab, where you can add the desired files to convert; and the "Metadata" tab, that allows you to modify the information of each file. Within the "File" tab, you can directly drag files or folders - only supported files will be added. You can perform some actions with the original files, e.g. rename when replacing original file, normalize, etc. You can select among 22 different formats for the output file. Each output format can be modified according to its properties. Within the "Additional Output Settings" window you can find many useful tags to add to the output files. The program also has a "Play" button that allows you to listen to each file before converting. Besides converting audio files, xrecode can also rip audio CDs. Another good feature is the shell integration that allows you to convert files directly from My PC by right clicking with the mouse.
