You can use this application to transfer new files from your local drives to your Sony device, back up and restore gadget data, keep your phone's software up-to-date, and so much more.
The utility comes with a straightforward interface, provides you with various built-in tools, and features easy-to-configure settings.
In my testing, I connected a Sony Xperia smartphone to my Mac and launched the app. The program immediately detected the media device and displayed a list of tools. I used the backup and music transfer ones. Xperia Companion completed these 2 tasks within moments and without slowing down the performance of my Mac in the process.
An important advantage is that the utility enables you to encrypt the created backup files. By encrypting the backed up files you make sure no unauthorized user will be able to check your smartphone data when you're not near your Mac.
To be honest, I can't find a single bad thing to say about this app. Hence, anyone who owns a Sony Xperia phone and works on a Mac should download and install this free application. It provides you with many useful features, works 100%, and is very simple to handle.
