Xilisoft iPod Magic 5.7.13

Work with a device assistant for controlling the content of your iPod or iPhone. Establish a connection between your smartphone and your Mac to view, open, relocate, remove, replace, copy, and otherwise process files, media materials, folders, archives, etc.

Xilisoft iPod Magic is Xilisoft's iPod transfer utility for the Mac. It is also available for Windows, and both versions look nearly identical. The app allows you to copy content from your iOS device to your computer and viceversa. It can copy your music, photos, movies, and ringtones. It supports most versions of iOS, but currently, iOS 5, which has been released only a few days ago, isn't supported. A new update to the application will probably add support to it soon.

Graphically, these apps all look the same, regardless of their developers. On the left, you will see your connected devices and the data that they contain sorted by categories: Music, Movies, Photos, Camera Roll, and RingTones. You can simply select one of those categories to see the data on the pane on the right. If you want to download something from your iOS device, you can simply check the item and click on the "download to Mac" button. If you want to put content on your device, you need to click on "Add file to the Device". You can add movies and music, but you can't upload photos.

Xilisoft iPod Magic works really well and it can be of great use for those users who don't like iTunes and the whole syncing process.
