XChat is an IRC Chat/Client software that allows us to join to multiple IRC channels providing multiple options and a lot of fun. Some of the options that we can mention are: the multiple connections to chat rooms at the same time, public and private conversations and the file transfers, configurations options for the appearance of the software, add of scripts, add of multiple plug-ins, etc.
The great advantage of this software is that it is based in a LGPL (GNU Library General Public License) free software license. The developers of this software have been working in the support of the program for multiple platforms; reason why we are going to find versions from Microsoft Operating Systems, Linux also Mac.
The author provides a great support and multiple updates of the software making it one of the favorites of users of the Internet Relay Chat. It’s easy to use and install, most of the solutions of any problem would be in the website forum and FAQ.
I recommend you to download and try the program; you will get fun and a great support for it.
