Writer's Desk is a tool designed for creative writers, not businesses. It allows you to manage your writing projects to make writing anything faster, better, and easier. You can work with one file or many, and keep records on people, places, events, notes, and references right beside your writings. You can also import Word files to avoid word processing for business. Writer's Desk omits features for business, such as mail merge and team development, and provides an environment for creative writing. The Project Manager can handle multiple chapters, papers, research files, etc. when project management is needed.
