Wondershare Data Recovery for iTunes is a data restore utility for the Mac. As you may know, if you have backups enabled, when you sync your iOS device with iTunes, the application creates a backup file on your system. Then, time after time, data is added to that backup file so that in the case of device failure, you can recover it. This app by Wondershare lets you scan those backup files and recover data from them. You don't even need to have your device connected while this is done. The application will detect all the devices that were ever synced with your Mac that have a backup file on your hard drive. All you need to do is select the backup file and then choose what you want to restore.

The application does a great job of sorting your data into categories on the left pane. It displays your files on the right pane. When I tested this app, I selected a backup file for my iPad, and I could recover images from my camera roll and my photo stream, my contacts, messages, message attachments, call history, calendars, notes, reminders and even my Safari Bookmarks. Restoring a file is as easy as clicking on the checkbox next to an item and clicking on the "Recover" button at the top of the screen. On the left pane, you can click on the checkbox next to your device name to restore everything at once.

In short, this application does a great job of displaying content on your backup files. It supports every iOS device, even the newest ones. Transferring items was easy and fast. My only complaint is that you can't preview anything before you transfer it.
