An advantage of working with Winzip Mac is that it lets you encrypt individual files within a zipped folder. This feature comes in handy when you wish to encrypt only one document within an archive containing, for instance, 100 files.
Another great thing about using this program is that it allows you to open and edit files within a ZIP file without extracting them first. More exactly, you don't have to unzip an entire archive just to change one file.
Unfortunately, the application comes with an important flaw: it supports only three output formats when it comes to creating archive files. You can find applications that don't have this disadvantage and cost less than Winzip Mac does.
