WinZip Courier can help you avoid the limits set to message size in various email services. This tool can automatically compress email attachments and, if they still exceed the maximum permitted size, they can be uploaded to a cloud storage service. The software can seamlessly integrate with various clients and services, including Microsoft Outlook, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, Outlook.com, Office 365 and Zoho. Likewise, it can be configured to upload a large attachment to ZipShare, Box, CloudMe, DropBox, Google Drive, MediaFire, OneDrive, and SugarSync.
The program is very easy to configure and, once this is completed, everything else will be done automatically, exactly the same way you usually send your messages. The format used to compress attachment is ZIP, which is probably the most widely used worldwide. Since security may also be a concern, it is good to know that the tool can encrypt data using Legacy or 128/256 bit AES.
In addition to zipping and encrypting, WinZip Courier has other convenient features. For instance, it can convert various types of documents and images (DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, GIF, JPG, WMF, etc.) to PDF. Likewise, the tool can resize attached images by scaling them down to the selected resolution.
In general, WinZip Courier comes in quite handy if you usually need to share large files over the email. It is good that the tool works with various email clients and services; yet, I was disappointed to see that it is not compatible with Mozilla Thunderbird. It is also a shame that it does not allow compressing and sending attachments directly from Windows Explorer.
