WinX iPhone Ringtone Maker is a simple audio editing tool. It allows users to create ringtones for the iPhone lineup of mobile phones from a variety of audio formats. You can also add supported video files and use their audio tracks to create your ringtones. This application has great audio formats support. I tested it with MP3 and AAC files, and even an MP4 video file.

Using the application is extremely easy. At the top of the screen, there is a set of brief instructions. From that, I learned that I could set the start time and end time of my ringtone by using the left and right buttons of my mouse respectively. When you load a supported file, you will see a time line. You can play the audio file and set your start and end times in real time, which is very helpful. You can also set fade-in and fade-out times, and change the gain, high-pass and low-pass of your audio. This edition tool has support for tag information, and you can add values such as Title and Artist manually.

All the ringtones that you create using this tool will be saved to M4R, which is the default ringtone format used by the iPhone.
