Personally, I would've preferred to have the option to scan individual folders, but the application only let me examine entire hard drives.

In my opinion, WinUndelete is a handy recovery tool that can restore any lost or deleted file. But, if the previously mentioned flaw proves to be a relevant disadvantage to you, I guess you should look for other solutions for file recovery.
