WinMail Decoder helps you view and extract the contents of winmail.dat files. Therefore, the tool may come in handy when you need to handle email messages created or sent with old versions of Microsoft Outlook. Likewise, it is allowed to use the contextual menu to copy them to the clipboard, ready to be pasted anywhere supported.

All in all, Winmail Decoder is perfect for overcoming compatibility issues between email file formats. Thus, it lets you avoid using a virtual machine instead. It is very light and has little demand of system resources. However, I regret saying that it froze once while I was trying to process several files.
