Windows Media Player Add-in for Microsoft FrontPage provides a reliable solution for embedding Windows Media Player into any HTML web page. It's essential for webmasters who would like to avoid compatibility problems of incorrect embedding code, and gain better management over the player's properties.
Once the add-in is installed, it can be accessed from within Microsoft Front Page via the "Insert" menu, after choosing it from the web components list. The add-in provides a wizard which will help you add streaming media URLs from the Internet, or optionally from your computer. In the latter case, the selected media file will be copied to your web folder, and it will have to be uploaded to your website.
The embedded player appearance can be controlled: you can choose to display full controls to your visitors, or you can choose the mini player, which has minimal controls. It's also possible to disable all the controls, or make the player totally invisible to the user.
After finishing the wizard, you can edit more player's properties, access the advanced settings, and adjust the player's dimensions by doing a double click on the player's object.
