mYoga is a FREE Yoga App for all users and a Yoga Teacher’s tool for their daily teaching practice.
This app is based on WHO’s newly developed yoga guidelines which was developed as a supplement to WHO’s general guidelines for physical activity. The guidelines are intended to assist policy makers to make evidence-informed decisions on designing health-promoting physical activity and promoting healthy ageing and healthy life.
The guidelines include recommendations for health-enhancing physical activity and exercise for older people and persons with disability, to promote health in the population. The app is a step-by-step, easy-to-follow guide, with numerous lessons and practice sessions. Each session includes video instructions in both English and Hindi, and downloadable text and audio notes for later reference. It is a self-help tool for yoga teachers, offering a safe and secure environment to teach yoga to their students.
