I couldn’t think of a more descriptive name for this program than Who Is On My Wifi. As you have probably guessed, this tool is intended to monitor access to your wireless network. In this respect, the program becomes an additional protective measure apart from setting a high security mode and a password that is difficult to decipher.

The program does a very simple job. It runs from the Tray and scans the network at the selected interval from five to thirty minutes to display a list of the connected machines, including their Mac address, IP address, computer name, connection status, identification status and description. From this list, you can authorize specific connections by settings computers to known or unknown, with the additional possibility of using descriptive names for them. Besides, you can set an IP range. Fortunately, there’s a setup wizard to help inexperienced users do this. Moreover, you can also configure the program to issue various types of notifications when an unauthorized user connects, such as displaying a popup window, playing a sound and even sending messages to your phone or email account. Moreover, the application can create scan logs with history information.

All in all, Who Is On My Wifi is absolutely an effective way of stopping others from using your connection for free. In this respect, it saves you the effort of running a command from the system’s shell. Unfortunately, the free version cannot actually block intruders, which is logically the main purpose of such a tool.
