WebsitePainter is intended for the creation of webpages just by managing its visual elements. Therefore, it helps you avoid writing any code whatsoever. In fact, even if you do not feel you are qualified enough to design a page, there is the possibility of starting from any of the templates available.

The editor’s interface is quite easy to figure out. There is a working area where you compose the pages in different tabs. Moreover, there is a Toolset, where the different page components can be found, as well as the Properties pane, which allows you to customize the selected object. Moreover, there is the Documents pane, allowing you to explore the website structure.

WebsitePainter’s toolset includes most of the components you need to create a decent webpage. In this respect, it supports adding not only text but also images, buttons, slideshows, and tables. Not only that, it also lets you create forms to gather information from the readers. And what is a modern webpage without media elements? So, it is good news that the editor lets you insert audio and video clips as well. Fortunately, adding components to your page is as simple as dragging and dropping them wherever you want to have them. Later, you can relocate or resize them either with your mouse or via the Properties pane.

WebsitePainter is a WYSIWYG editor, which means that you can have an idea of what the page will look like. It is also possible to preview them in your browser. Once you are ready, the site can be saved to a local folder or uploaded to an FTP site.

In short, WebsitePainter has the main advantage of allowing anyone to create a nice webpage, even if they do not know how to code. However, it does not have as many features as other more sophisticated web editors. So, I guess most experienced users will prefer to continue looking elsewhere.
