The Internet is the ultimate source of image files of various formats. Retrieving a single image is as simple as calling a special menu in your browser. Retrieving all images of a website or several images sharing a common base name, isn’t well supported by todays Internet browsers. Thus, WebBeaver was invented!

WebBeaver is a very simple utility to download hundreds of files of a website. Using two simple modes, WebBeaver allows to download virtually unlimited files with ease. Crawler Mode: Based on a base URL, WebBeaver scans of other linked pages and discovers all embedded images. Common Name Mode: Base on a common name, WebBeaver enumerates all files sharing a given base name, checks existence of each image file, and finally downloads all files.
