Once a grey ball comes into contact with a colored one, it transforms into a colored ball, triggering a chain reaction among the others. So, just a single colored ball can suffice to accomplish the task. The tricky aspect is to figure out which pin to extract first, in order to prevent touching bombs or releasing the grey balls.
