In the game of "President", the ranking of the cards plays a crucial role. Cards with a higher rank triumph over those with a lower rank. The game initiates with the President commencing the first round by playing any combination of cards. The other participants are then required to either play a combination of cards with a higher rank or opt to pass their turn. The player who plays the combination of cards with the highest rank emerges victorious in the round and gets to start the subsequent round.

The player who assumes the role of the Asshole, being the last to finish each round, is at a disadvantage. They are obliged to hand over their two most valuable cards to the President. In exchange, the President has the option to give their two least valuable cards to the Asshole. This exchange occurs after every round. As the game unfolds, players strive to either ascend from the position of Asshole to President or avoid descending from President to Asshole. The intricacies of negotiation and strategic thinking come into play as players endeavor to preserve their status and utilize their cards shrewdly.
