As the name suggests, Weather Widget Desktop is a app that provides a wealth of information on the weather, directly on your desktop.
Weather Widget Desktop sits on your Mac desktop and displays configurable information on the weather in given locations. The widget sports a stylish user interface that is pleasing to look at, and can be resized to suit your needs. You can also adjust the opacity. You can set a "hot corner" so that whenever your mouse hovers over that corner, the widget will show over the top of any windows that are covering it. Weather Widget supports multiple locations, metric and imperial measuring units, and can be set to start automatically on login. A small amount of information is displayed in the menubar as well.
If you need the weather to hand at any given moment, and want it displayed in a nice format, this app will do just that. Be aware that the refresh times on the weather data can be very infrequent, making real time information (such as the current temperature) less useful.
