Way of the Hunter is a first-person shooting game that combines an open-world environment with detailed challenges and an incredibly realistic natural environment. Both single-player and online co-op modes are supported, and it features a complex mission and maps system, giving players the ability to add more species.

With breathtaking panoramic landscape perspectives, as well as the ability to visit various well-known hunting locations found throughout the world, Way of the Hunter provides intense FPS elements. They can be compared to those experienced throughout Call of Duty.

Way of the Hunter is not necessarily a shoot-'em-up platform in terms of actions that players can take. Instead, it places a significant amount of focus on how ethics are involved. Note that the game's FPS rates may drop on occasion.
