
The SSO client installs as a Windows service that runs under the Local System account on a workstation to verify the credentials of the user currently logged in to that computer. When a user tries to authenticate, the SSO agent sends a request to the SSO client for the user's credentials. The SSO client then returns the credentials of the user who is logged in to the workstation.
