Warm Up is a perfect game for fans of Formula One racing. This software was originally released as far back as 2000 and it is currently considered to be one of the classics within the genre. Offering numerous tracks, environments and vehicles, the platform is perfect for anyone who is a fan of fast-paced competitions and multiplayer interaction. It was developed by the software firm Lankhor and released by Microids.
One of the first aspects which F1 fans will note is that the physics are extremely realistic for a game of this time. Multiple camera angles add an extra sense of realism to Warm Up and cut scenes are quite cinematic in nature. The overall sound effects are sufficient and first-person racing views are very similar to modern games. Track conditions will change from level to level, so the player has to adapt his or her driving techniques as may be required.
Up to ten additional players can join a Warm Up competition through an online broadband connection. Important information such as the number of laps remaining, the elapsed time, the speed and the rank of the player are all displayed along the top of the screen.
