Wangemu is a binary image of the Wang ROMs, and it allows for microinstructions to be carried out cycle by cycle. All input/output operations are trapped and the addressed device is emulated to give the appropriate response. This emulator is bug-for-bug compatible with a real machine, as it uses the actual microcode.
