Sends a broadcast packet on the network and identifies the WAGO products currently connected to the network. In case of failure, resends the packet until a response is received from the target device. Checks the COM port settings and cabling as well.

If a connection timeout occurs, you can retry the connection by using the

“Identify“ button. If the problem persists, check the COM port settings and

cabling.

An IP address always consists of both network and computer addresses. The

network mask determines which bits belong to the network address and which

do not.
