Vorboils is a very interesting 3D screensaver. It generates beautifully colored wormholes (or something similar) that spin around, wave, warp and twist. The software has many cool things going on, starting with the huge list of customization options. Resolution, camera, lights, textures, tunnels and more, all have many settings that can be tweaked.
Some of the animations have a hypnotizing effect. Depending on what type of person you are, it can relax you, change your mood or make you feel sick. Randomly generated themes and constant changes in movement make every animation interesting and unique.
Playing around with the settings is fun. You can either mess around just out of curiosity, letting yourself be surprised by the achieved effects or you can create the themes that you want.
Probably the only flaw of this program is a clock that can be selected to appear and looks a bit silly. However, there are many clocks to choose from after you buy the full version. You also get all settings unlocked, a cube that can be added to the animation, downloadable themes, access to updates and much more. The price for a license seems fair, considering the quality of the product.
